2025 CHIEFTAIN

Ardrossan Highland Games are delighted to announce that the 2025 Games Chieftain will be Mrs Anne Petigrew.

Anne has been a "well-kent face" in Ardrossan for a long time, married to former Chieftain Alan, with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Anne has been involved with many voluntary groups, including playgroups, youth groups, and, of course, our very own Highland Games. 

Anne is perhaps best known locally for her work as a classroom assistant first at Dykesmains primary and then at Ardrossan Academy, where she was held in very high regard by staff and pupils alike.

Anne was "very surprised to be asked and highly delighted" to accept the role of Chieftain. 

We look forward to another fantastic day on Sunday, June 8th, and we wish Anne and her family all the best for this years Games.
